Top 5 Tips to avoid needing to order Kubota parts
Even the most reliable piece of equipment will, sometimes, breakdown and need to be repaired or replaced.
That might be particularly true in the demanding environments relatively regularly encountered in Australian farming.
However, there are certain things that you can do as an owner which might help reduce the likelihood of you encountering problems and needing to order things such as spare kubota parts.
These should be relatively obvious but even so, it’s sometimes worth restating them:
Make sure that your equipment is regularly serviced and maintained. That should be at least in line with the manufacturer’s recommendations and it’s not a bad idea to occasionally do a little more than the minimum required.
Only use and operate your equipment within the manufacturer’s specified tolerances and limits. For example, if they state a specified maximum towing load then don’t exceed it. The same of course will apply to any accessories or replacement kubota parts.
When you are using lubrication and fuel, make sure you use only the best quality materials available or again as recommended by the manufacturer’s documentation. Re-using gummed-up old oil re-cycled from another piece of equipment is a recipe for problems downstream.
Don’t let untrained people use or otherwise operate your equipment. Even the most basic tractor that may appear to be simple to drive and operate might be very susceptible to damage if someone inept or untrained is behind the wheel. You might be surprised at just how much damage is caused to equipment (and sometimes people) for this reason.
Avoid exceeding your own realistic capabilities when trying to fix problems or fit accessories etc. For example, it can sometimes be a very tempting to have a good ‘hack around’ inside the engine or hydraulics because something isn’t quite right but if you don’t know what you’re doing the consequences can be problematic and extremely expensive to remedy.
