Does Your Mower Spend More Time In The Repair Shop Than On The Lawn?
It’s sometimes funny to hear people saying something like “it only takes an hour or so to mow our lawn”.
That’s funny because they will then go on to tell you how they always need to spend several hours dismantling the engine and fixing problems with their mower before they get it working and out actually cutting the grass!
Is that experience unusual? Well, no it’s not, at least if the mower concerned is well past its best and perhaps would now look rather better in a museum of ‘bygone days’ than on your lawn trying and failing to do the job it was originally designed for.

As you would expect, at White’s Tractors we are convinced of the benefits of maintenance and repairs but even we have to admit that eventually a mower just has to be allowed to gracefully ‘pass on’ because the cost and effort in constantly maintaining it are becoming too high.
Of course, some owners will say at this stage that they simply can’t afford a good quality professional-level replacement mower. Yet when they do so, they may be overlooking just how much money they are spending in keeping their existing clapped-out mower running and how much of their precious time they are also investing in doing so.
It’s also a myth that top-quality mowers have to be prohibitively expensive. We make no apologies for saying that we’re great fans of the T-series Kubota ride on mowers. They are lightweight, rugged but also very affordable and cost-effective.
If you would like to spend more of your time mowing your lawn and less dismantling parts of your mower in the garage, you might want to think about talking to us sooner rather than later about replacing it.
